Hey,
I'm from Melbourne and have always been a VW enthusiast. Dad has owned three or four Kombis as well as a couple of Passats, but the newest model he ever had was I think a 1979 one. Everyone knew when we were nearby because it would whistle but I was too young to ever figure out why.
Anyway, two other siblings are now driving brand new Golfs, which got me thinking...
So now I'm after a Mk 1 or 2 Golf GTi, as clean as possible.
Hopefully I'll find one in the coming weeks and can get to some events.
