Brilliant to find this site. I recently joined scirocco register after finding some photo's of my GTX. I have been reminiscing about my old GTX and am still gutted I lost it. I came to Australia initially for a year but like so many I fell in love with the place and didn't go back home. I am still here 10 years later and wouldn't be anywhere else.
My Scirocco was sweet and drove really well. It was modified and had a Golf 16V engine which meant it was fast, real fast.It was a really good looking car, not a scratch or dent on it. Full body kit and I kept it clean as a whistle.
After 2 years or so of me being in Australia my Dad phoned me and told me he had sold my GTX! He wanted the space back so sold it to some lucky punter who must have thought he had won the lotto. So to find this site is cool as hopefully I might be able to buy a GTX and stop dreaming.
