WA newbie need help

hi there vw faithful, been driving the same mk1 6yrs now, love it ,hate it ,love it....stuck with it , guy i bought it from imported it from south africa. finding it hard to get parts for it ,1990 citigolf 1.8 8v carb, hope someone can help with info. i really want to keep it rolling.....cheers
