Barloworld Burwood actually had two in stock (one used as a demo) and one still wrapped up.
It's not the GTI that I was originally considering but I didn't want to wait the 16 months quoted.
The drive feels good and quiet with adequate power for my use.

Howdy Stretch! The long wait for a GTi deterred me too, more than happy with my 77TSi though after five months of ownership. And you can always tweak it for more power later!
