NSW Am i a chump buying my first GTI without driving one!

Paid a deposit last week for a GTI ED35. I've been looking around at lots of new cars for a the past few months and finally it dawned on me that i needed a Golf. After a few hours of research i noticed the ED35 was on the way so thought it might be nice to get some extra performance and could possibly be a little unique. Since paying the deposit i think i've visited half the internet searching out bits and bobs about the Mark VI and the ED35 etc.

In my opinion if you like the look (I do) and believe the extra performance (even if it is minor) and looks are worth it then it is definitely worth it!! It's your car!! And what colour/options are you getting on it?

Never drove my GTi before purchase.....and it was instock.

Rarely do I drive cars before purchase though as I normally import from o/sea, eastern states or buy from Auction!

The golf was the first car id ever tested before buying only because dealer insisted on it. was very different to what i was used to (ve ss ute) so it was an experiance lol
