VIC Very new to vw's and buying a golf very soon!

Hey everyone, very new to the vw scene, previously owned a 1985 volvo 360 glt, and after that stopped running due to a number of reasons, I decided to buy a golf, so im currently a week away from picking up my very first golf.
I have joined the forum in the hopes of finding some pointers and tips for maintaining the golf, as well as enjoy many images of mods.
First accessory: thule roof racks for the bike. Very excited!

Welcome to the forum mate! Thule roof racks and their bike racks are awesome! I've been using Thule bike racks since my bikes were worth more than my car! (and my car was a brand new Toyota Echo... lol, yes, I liked my bikes).

hahaha, yeah, My bikes are still worth more than my car (at heart) so they will be very looked after on the golf. Thinking of getting a thule wind deflector aswell, not even going to lie... its because they look AMAZING!

From a VW dealer. No point attempting to purchase it from overseas, cause shipping would be a killer...

Alternatively, you could do what SilvrfoxX has done here.
