  • Hi

Sorry I think I didn't post in here first

Anyhow, Hi I'm Sam. Not a VW owner but an Audi S3 8L owner. I've had the car for about 3 months, it was stock and had a few issues when I got it but I've pretty much sorted it now bar a few bits. Not trying to do anything crazy but just get the car "sorted" as such.

Hope to pop along to some events when they crop up. I met Justin (dainese) on the weekend, he fitted his old Bilstein setup to my car (which is awesome, thanks again).

Here's a couple of pics. When I got it:

After lowering. Please excuse the lack of centre caps, the previous owner had siliconed them on BBS CH soon though:

Edit: Just realised I managed to park with the wheels in almost the same position in those shots, odd

    Engine:

Not much done to the engine but I've replaced the push down coils (they failed on me) with Hitachi bolt downs, new Bosch MAF, a good service, dogbone mount, forge 007p n249 bypass and a few other bits inc PCV simplification (using IE block and cam cover adapters - that horrid red hose is being replaced with OEM looking black shortly). Must stop spending
