VIC Celebrated my GTI's 1st Birthday!

Hi all!

Been lurking around (and learning from) VWWatercooled for a while now. Recently celebrated my MK6 Golf GTI's 1st Birthday! Yay! Its been a rough 1st year.. Visits after visits to the dealer to fix the dreaded rubbing/squeeking + wind noise but in the end it took going on ebay, acquiring some Krytox in grease form, a beautiful Saturday afternoon and a small paintbrush.. the rest is, as they say, history

2nd year is looking to be a year for a few mods. Really looking forward to it and gaining more insight, tips from the community and all in all having a good 2nd year

Welcome to the Forum LOL, had my GTI for a year at the end of May also and have just purchased some gummi pfledge from Car Care Products to hopefully solve the door rubber squeaks, haven't used it yet cause I need to clean all the rubbers first. Here's to a good second year and more enjoyment from our rockets
