hey guys,
first i just wanna say I love these forums; didn't know how many passionate ppl there were in Oz who loved their veedubs.
I need some help:
I currently have an '03 mk4 Golf 2.0L Sport, love it to bits, great car, had for about 18 months. But I was in the garage the other day and the mechanic told me he's selling his 03 Bora v6 4 Motion for between 10 and 11k. It's done a bit over 100,000 but the engine just sounds fantastic.
Anyway, I notice there's a fair bit of leak from the exhaust when I rev it. He says he's gonna fix it up over the next week or so and then give me a call.
What should I look out for? How bad will the fuel consumption be? Do you guys reckon it's worth the upgrade?
