VIC Got myself a Golf!

Hey Guys,

Going for my P's in a few weeks, and after 2 years of solid part time work and a little help from the folks, finally splashed out and bought my first car. Ended up with a new Black Golf 118TSI Comfortline (Manual) with the Sports Pack, from Luke and Danny, at Bayford Volkswagen. Taking delivery on Wednesday, so thought it was about time I joined the forum I've been reading nonstop for weeks.

Hoping to eventually install the Golf R Rear Lights, Bluetooth and an RNS510, but running a little low on cash at the moment as you can imagine.

Thanks for the help so far, and the help the will inevitably come.

Congrats; so the 118TSI isn't prohibited for P platers?

As the 118TSI is super & turbo charged, it is prohibited, however as it is deemed a lower performance car, and unlike the GTI/R is not a "sports variant", Vicroads allow exemptions to be given to P platers who make an application.
