NSW my first time

Finally my first post, but I have used this foum alot for research and found it very help full so its time I gave back. I bought the van as a tow car and to travel the country. He is a 2006 T5 4-motion 128kw 6 speed ex-ambo when I got him there was only 22800km on the clock. We picked him up from Carr's Cars in brookvale nearly two years ago I will be posting some pix in the Transporter section of my camper conversion which is just about complete to hopfully give some ideas and insperation to others.
The wife and I are due to set of around the country in 4 weeks, we have a few dates and destinations we want to get to but all the rest will be what ever happens and however we feel.

Like your T5 Augie. I'll be interested to see how you fit it out. I 'd be interested to hear about your fuel consumption in the 4 motion too as I'm thinking that will be my choice in my next van. I currently have a 2005 t5 128kw 6 speed auto that I average 8.3 k's driving as I see fit, not to ecomony.

I pretty much get 800km to the tank all round driving, one tank with a gutted van I got over 900k's. When I'm towing my race car, about 1300kg total car and trailer I only get 650 to 700 but I dont take it easy.
