QLD Hi all

Hello everyone, I've been looking at the site for a few days and decided to join as I put a order in for a new MK6 GTD at the start of the month & should be here around Mid September. But the waiting is killing me already!!

Looking at a few mods already, Golf R LED tail lights, APR Carbon Fiber Air Intake, Tune (APR Stage 1 or Bluefin?) & maybe also a DPF Delete pipe, but may pass on the De-DPF pipe for a while though...

I'm keen to learn a few things about VW's/Golfs as my mate from the UK never shuts up about his from back home.

Nothing worse than waiting for a new car to arrive. I once waited 27 weeks for a holden panel van back in the 70's. It was the first metallic painted van ever from GMH and I optioned it up to the hilt. Sold it 3 years later for 600 dollars more than I paid for it new.

When I get it I will let you know, I'm sure my boss won't mind a friendly race either . I wanted it more so for fuel economy but something that is still fun to drive, so I think it will do for now
