Hi everyone, I love this forum and have been lurking on it for some time. Recently I took my 2008 polo to Volkspower in Burwood. Being VW specialists I thought they would do a good job. It was only for a minor service. Half way through the day I get a phone call telling me the job was done. I'm happy, except then the guy offers to change my wiper blades. I ask "How much?" and he says "One hundred dollars"... WTF! Rather diplomatically I tell him I'll do it myself. I thought I would share this experience with you and see what others have thought of them. Can anybody else recommend a VW specialist in Melbourne? Thanks.

I highly recommend Audvolks in Clayton. Very knowledgeable, always around to help, VERY well priced. Mind you, I drive 1.5 hours to get my car serviced there._

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
I'll be replacing the wiper blades... when they need to be changed, probably with something from Autobarn.
I'll admit I'm becoming a bit paranoid about getting ripped off. I once had a garage bill me for new wiper blades at a routine service. It was awkward when I pointed out to the mechanic that I'd changed them myself the week before, and they were the same ones still on the car.
