    Picked up my Golf GTI a few days ago - NICE. Have been browser of this forum for a number of months - thanks for all the useful information I have gathered

      My bad on the info. It's a new one - 2011 ordered 4/2/11, built Mar 11, delivered 30/5/11 - slightly ahead of predicted "June 2011". GTI Manual, Carbon Steel, ACC, !8" Detroits, MDI. Really fun to drive.

      My previous ride was a 2004 Honda Accord Euro Luxury - also a great car that we have kept in the family - my daughter is very happy!!. Obviously a change in tact - luxury, great ride vs sporty, great ride. Loved the Honda (sorry to those with a "rice burners" bias), love the GTI.
