Just posting a bit about my car. Jetta TFSI is a great car; no quality issues to complain about, and feature list is excellent. I have now done over 60,000 km (and facing a $1200+ service bill for the scheduled service - main item is the DSG transmission fluid).
I replaced the factory fitted Continental tyres (very soft - lasted about 35,000 km) with Michelin Pilot Sport 3, and they have proved to be a huge improvement, including with wear rates.
Intrigued by the variation in features between model years that have the RNS510. My version has what appears to be the "basic" bluetooth module, which does not integrate anything on the screen. Newer versions fully integrate, including with voice control. Amazed at the time gap (and excessive cost!) between Map versions available for the RNS510. I know some in the SatNav map industry, and they say the supplier for RNS510 maps in all countries EXCEPT Australia is Navteq. Here, we are lumped with Sensis / Whereis maps, and they are not updated and compiled for VW often enough.
