Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • WA Finally here, yipee !!!!

Right first off i've been lurkin for a while , Hi ( it wouldn't access me as VeeRahSix for some reason, no matter ), so i'm a long term lover / owner of all things VW, modded G60 corrado's, Mk1 golfs, lupo gti, polo gti, Bora's etc in the Uk, Mrs worked as VW sale thingy for years over there too, mates had every type of V-dubs going, first car over here was a 1974 beetle and now after many years ( 20 plus ) ridin R1 yamahas etc and many points i now return too the warmin comfort of a VW....I love more than anything a oak green big bumpered MK2 Gti 16v. So how i ended up with a Mk3 VR6 5door high mileage run down golf i've no idea, but too be honest it was love at first flynch, purple stone chipped body thats got bits of rust, so many broken bits and pieces, i've no way of sorting it out in my life time ! But i've started with fixin c\ locking, fittin sounds, moddin headlights, removing anything that i can take off, so on and so on. Head is full of ideas and no money to do them is the prob so far, but this place is helpin so much on the advice side, so cheers all for that. Any way, hope too catch up with fellow dubbers soon, but got to say the WA side is lackin in numbers, but i'm sure the love is there, lol. Cheers guys. Tony
