My first VW a Multivan

Hello all, I am now the proud owner of a T5 Multivan. I would like to claim it is a flash new one, but alas it is not. 2006 model, highline. We bought it as we have 3 little kiddies and a 4th on the way! I have now been driving it for 2 days and the kids love it. I am finding it easy to use, but frustratingly - it has NO radio at all!!!!! Doing my head in a little, so I am going to pop over to the forum for radios? navigation units? or something like that and ask a question or two as to what on earth we should get that won't cost more than the car!!!

I bought one with no radio as well. It seems to be a pretty common thing where certain religious communities like to have them removed.

I am going to install a VW RNS NAV unit from a Touareg in mine with help of a few special adaptors and trickery.

Thanks mikinoz, that's exactly why the car didn't have a stereo. I hadn't heard of that before. I am technically challenged to say the least, so I am not sure I will be able to work out what special adaptors and trickery would be needed, but I was going to get an installer to fit whatever we end up with so hopefully they will know what extras will be required! I hope your NAV system goes well. Is your van a newer model?
Today I am looking forward to having 4 kids, although by 7pm tonight I will probably think we are insane again!

I have a 2005 model. I think I am in for a bit of mucking about to be honest, but like the challenge.

Once you have 4 kids, you'll even consider it possible to have more.

i have a brand new original vw t5 cd radio player its never been used as i love my stereos and spend thousands on them but if anyone is interested in it it should plug straight in thats if the original wiring is in tact ill even install it for a little extra 0406991687
