hi all, picked up a black 2009 Passat R36 last week and the research has begun on all there is to know about these great cars. this is my first VW and so far, I am very impressed with it. Having a 03 WRX with engine mods done (low/mid 12's qtr mile) I thought I'd never be able to get something that would compare, yet I am pleasantly surprised with the R36's smooth and effortless response. Now to sell the WRX. I'm in Sydney too by the way! Cheers, Michael.

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
