Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi!

    I'm a big nerd who got himself and his family a 2001 Passat V6 stationwagon. I love it so much! We've always loved VWs and used to own older models. I live in Katoomba, NSW.

    I'm here mostly looking for other VW owners to see how they maintain their cars given that VWs are not that common for Australia (which is a shame!!!)

    Welcome mate.

    Most people on here in the mountains use independent mechanics to maintain their machines.

    There are a few of us in the area that do a bit to their cars, so if your keen to meet up drop us a line.

      It depends where you are in Australia,in Melbourne,VW Golfs,Jettas,Polos,Passats,and Tiguans are EXTREMELY popilar.
