Yes, I've ordered a Polo GTI, yes, I'm still waiting
In the meantime, I've been lurking these boards but only now have registered. Looking forward to contributing to the community soon when my pogo is delivered ... dealer says August... I can't wait!

Apparently its got a week 20 build date so probably being screwed together right now. Flash Red 3 door with Audio, comfort pack and panoramic sunroof...

Anybody want to buy a well loved and treated 2005 NC Mazda Mx5 while we are waiting?

How long ago did you order?

In February, I was told next February for deliveries altho the dealer HAD just gotten a cancellation for a white one in August at that time. But we didn't bite.

Now, I am told it's next June. ouch.

I test drove the Polo GTI last weekend and I honestly think it's a better car for city driving. It felt more lively, more nippy and generally seemed to be raring to go, compared to even the Mk V GTI I was driving to the showroom in. And the small size might be handy in some of the parking lots I have found myself in when I was last in Brisbane. It was not pretty what I did to that rental.
