Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD Hi from new R32 member

    Hi guys,

Heard about this forum through Option 1 Garage in Brisbane. They tell me it's a good way to get some technical tips and advice.

I've owned my R32 for about 3 years now - bought new. I mainly use it weekends and love to get up into the hinterland behind Brisbane and the coast where the R32 is so much fun. Also did a few track days last year at Queensland Raceway and Lakeside putting the R32 through its paces against Porsches, M3's, GTR's and Lotus Exiges. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of doing this and it is a great way to learn some advanced driving skills in a controlled environment.

    Welcome mate.
Any pictures and specs on the R32.
Have you done anything to it?

Hopefully we can get you to some of the Brissy events so we can see the thing in person.

What is required to track the car's at lakeside?
