Hi all. I have a 2009 Jetta 103TDI which I almost completely love. I've had it since new but it has taken me a bit of time to get organised to have this first post (don't even mention Facebook and Twitter). I say I almost completely love the Jetta because in the last 4 months its taken into its head (engine bay) not to start, but my son (also owns a Jetta) assured me I'll find a lot of posts here about this frustration. This is only the 2nd VW I've owned, the other was a new 1964 bettle - things have certainly improved since then.
Well I've almost done it, hopefully this is my first successful post. Look forward to some interesting chats.
Just an update. I'm back to completely loving the Jetta. After having it towed to the dealership they got it going again. There comments were, after checking the history as this has happened before, they checked for cause of engine not starting and engine warning light on. Found terminal at back of relay had slipped out, refitted and locked connector into place. Rechecked now all OK. Has any body else experienced similar problems? Regards
