Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi There everybody

My name is Todd and I am an addict I already have a couple of Bay Window Kombi's, but now have acquired my first water cooled van. Its a 1995 2.5L petrol Transporter with the single back door, in the ever popular colour of white She is a little rough but drives great. Hope to get it fixed up nice eventually and do some road trips

    Welcome Todd to VW Anonymous.com

Your T4 will have good backup when you need it on these forums, ask a question or 2 if something bothers you.

Hi Todd, you're not far from me at Modbury. I had a T4 for 11 years, 2.0 Litre 4 cyl.

Welcome mate! Love the idea of road tripping in a van, guessing you have plans to convert / kit it out as a camping / road-trip car?

You should love the van, drive very different from a bay. I had a T4, 1995 camper for 9 years. Was also a 2.5 petrol/lpg, 5 speed manual. Any questions, just ask, some one should know the answer.
