I bought a Golf GTi last Yr from VW Barloworld and when I purchased the Premium Bluetooth, I was under the impression that it would work like the one in the RCD 510 manual. I found out after that it was a Volkstronic unit. I have an iPhone and apparently it does not work correctly. By this I mean:
1. Names are back to front.
2. If I get a 2nd call and answer it the 1st call gets disconnected, unless I do it on the Phone.
3. If I listen to my Voicemail and want to delete the message, I can't press 5 to delete on the screen, unless I do it on the Phone.
4. If I want to conference someone I can't unless I do it on the Phone.
5. I can't mute a call, unless I do it on the Phone.
Apart from being able to dial my contacts from the screen and steering wheel, not that great. I ask about these features as I receive a lot of calls from customers all day on my mobile and it is frustrating if i have to use the mobile Phone (defeats the object of the premium Bluetooth really).
Are there other people with the same problem as me with an iPhone or any other phone really or is it just the Volkstronic Unit.
