Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi Guys,

    Just joined up. Want to thank the posters on the forums have helped me when researching my new car purchase. Decided on a Polo GTI and placed the deposit on it today.

      Im from Newcastle as well, I ordered a Golf GTI back on the 21st Feb. now the long wait begins....

        Dad's wait was 9 months for his MkV GTI in '05....solid process isn't it!

            Nice, it's painful

            His is a MkV GTI, BMP with 19" gunmetal wheels, I'm kicking around (when it's back on the road) in a Blue Mk4 R32.

            Actually from Ashtonfield, not Newcastle

              It is a long time - I was looking at a 12 month wait but lucked on a car due in June that was exactly what I was going to order...
