Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VW noobie. Need info on 05-10' 1.9tdi's wiring

Hey all. Very much a vw noobie as i am only suzuki exerienced..

If trying to find all the wiring info i can for a 10'caddy or a 05' golf 1.9tdi, To convert into a suzuki sierra.

I have been searching my arse off. So tired atm..

No one can tell me if i can swap everything from car to another, and it will work.. And if i can't, Is there any way how i can do it? e.g. Specialised ecu tuners to delete immoboliser and the cluster? My cluster will have to be custom config anyway to suit the tyres im running, to be engineered.

The 1.9tdi sounds like a sweet little engine. More powerfull than a vitara efi motor, And definately more km/L!!

I will have no problem mechanically, its just the wiring im worried about.

    Thanks for any help.
Working...
