  • QLD New VW owner

    Hi there all,
Just taken delivery of my first VW, from a guy that has never owned anything other than VWs. Its a 1995 Vento.
Will be after parts to complete a RWC, but all in all, I'm very pleased with the car. Hope to learn lots from you all.

Hey hey - welcome to VWW.

Nice choice on the car! What are you going to do to it? Dump, stretch and poke I take it?

      Welcome to the forums.
The Vento's look quite cool as they are fairly rare.
Hope to see you at some of the Monthly euro meet's.

          I have owned 2 new Ventos,one was a 1994 Jetta 3 2.0 GL auto in USA,the other was a 1996 Jetta 1.8 CSX in South Africa.

          Both were lovely cars.

Thanx for the replies. The car was purchased for my son, its his first car, so hopefully the only money we/he/I spend will be petrol money! No plans to modify it...at this stage. (Not even sure where to start modifying it as yet. I guess that as I read on further we could do a few things to tweak suspension, breathing and exhaust later on.) As mentioned earlier it needs a couple of things to get it registered and on the road. First thing is rear window regulators. Anyone know a good parts supplier, either new or pre-loved, in the SE Qld region? Will keep checking this forum and supply updates as I go. Where abouts are those Euro meets held?
