Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA First post - soon to be Golf R owner

    Hi all,
    obviously new to the forum and I look forward to contributing.

    Just got back to Perth after 2.5 years in Europe, where I drove a Golf GTI in Belgium. Have organised my new Golf R and I pick it up in approx. 6 weeks.

        I went for one in stock as I can't wait for an ordered one, only reason I have to wait 6 weeks is for the cash to pay for it, which is coming from selling my apartment in Sweden.

        5 door/Rising Blue/DSG/Leather/Bluetooth/MDI/Reversing camera

        I was going to go for a black one in stock with the 19" black talladega wheels, but I love leather seats, so that and the bluetooth swayed me to the blue one.
