Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    How's it going folks,

    Just thought I'd sign up to the forum as I'm planning on moving to Melbourne in the next few months and wanted to see what the VW scene was like.
    I'm currently driving a '94 Vento but I don't see it coming with me on my travels. I've thrown in a picture anyway.
    I look forward to having a good look around the forum and getting to know the Australian scene in the coming months.

        Cheers lads, I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out.
        I'd bring it with me but I'm pretty sure it would cost more than I've spent on it to bring it down.
        The Irish Euro scene isn't the biggest but it's growing. Lots of Ricers and general idiots with wop wop exhausts.
