Greetings, I am a Mk 6 GTI driver, having traded a Mk 5 GTI for this one. Glad to be back driving special VW's having learned to drive in old rusty beetles with no synchro (in mid-1970's)..........am I the oldest dude here??? Also bought a new Golf in 1979, 1.6 manual, only 840kg, added a sunroof, bilsteins, telephone dial mags (BBS?), Pirelli P6's, loud stereo, and washed it too often........the good old days (loved that car).
Anyhoo, I am going to have a 'blog' .....unfortunately about what am told to be very noisy tyres on my current GTI, and look forward to obtaining some independent feedback from all you learned members.......regards, J Walter.
