Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Reintroduction - new R36 on the way

    Hey all,

    I joined up a few months ago to ask some questions about the size of a Golf and practicality for a family etc. It turned out that a Golf wasn't really going to suit what I was looking for.
    Then after a few more months of looking I came across the R36 wagon and it ticked all the boxes + I'm getting a hell of a deal on my old 135i.
    I pick her up today after work, really looking forward to it!

      Yeah it is exciting!

      Ah it's a great car so far. Very nice to drive it's so smooth and easy, but it still has good get up and go when you need it! Looking forward to taking it for a proper drive out of town somewhere!
