Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Newbie with a New Beetle

    hey all

    just registered after lurking for several months. bought a new beetle last year and so far it's been fun.

    looking forward to turning up at a cruise/meet sometime soon!

      oh sweet there are weekly meets. didn't realise. still have to have a good look around here

      i also have a Nissan 180SX (1.8L turbo RWD), but that's another story. surprisingly the beetle's handling isn't too far behind it. nice chassis the mk4

        Weekly meet in Brisbane used to be a pre-meet then a drive to Harry's on Thursday night.
        Since Milton Maccas shut down, it has basically just been a meet at Harry's.
