Hopefully about to order a new 147 Tiguan. Deal on existing stock drops $4500 on drive away price. Still wondering if I should wait for the new facelifted version...?

Dude. You're going to buy an 'old' model! Wait for the facelift and get a new version, which will have DSG afair. If you don't care about that go for it or wait till the new version is out and try to get a bigger discount on the old model.

Do you have to wait for it to be delivered or is it in dealer stock?

I would't wait for the facelift, the current front end is unique, the new one just aligns with the same boxy front end on all other VW/Audi's.
The rear stays the same from memory.

I too have recently ordered a new 147 tiguan.
1. Is it possible to get the dealer to delay the order so it will be the new face-lifted version?
2. What will the changes be?
3. Is there a date that they will start building these?
4. Is there a way I can find out which one I'm getting. I can most likely answer my own question by calling the dealer but I'm interested if someone could help.
