Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Hello from Victoria!

    Hi,
    after reading on vww for more then 3 years I thought it was time to register! Anyway I grew up with VWs, the first car I can remember was my parents white 3 dr MK1 GTI followed by a Polo MKII, Passat B4 and B5.
    I had a couple of Golf MKII after I got my licence, but after coming to oz, I kind of listend to my wife and we bought some serious crap cars, next planed cars are Tiguan&Golf Gti

    Awesome lineup of older VW's.

    The tiguan is an awesome bit of kit, it obliterates the CUV market in almost all areas (with the exception of storage space apparently)

    what model/options are you looking at?
    My Tiguan TSI APR Stg2 + RPF1's

      Probably the base 125TSI with an APR tune to match the power of the 147TSI. That's then my wifes car aka family car and I'll get a GTI as kind of compensation for all the ****boxes my wife bought/wanted lol

      We were going to order a few weeks ago, but then found out, that the new Gen will have the DSG gearbox etc. so we are again undecided. I've already read your Tiguan Thread a while ago, looks dope!
