So, as part of the deal with the purchase of my recently acquired GTI, I have agreed (very willingly) to join this forum!
Since I have very little to add for now, I thought I would share a photo of my car. I actually bought it off a member of vww, shauno. Car drives beautifully, and has clearly been lovingly looked after for many years.
I spent yesterday giving it a good wash and wax, and then took a photo
I don't really expect to be doing much to it in the next few months, as it is already APR'd, with a front swaybar and a tint...all things I had planned to do to whatever car I ended up buying anyway. I think the first (eventual) addition will be a CAI, and a high pressure fuel pump.
