First car, first VW... my 2006 Jetta FSI Turbo, love it to bits!

Have plans to do some mods, but they will have to be limited to audio & cosmetic as p-plate laws suck. As it was i had to apply to drive this beautiful piece of machinery.
First on my list, ipod integration into the stock stereo

Welcome! I recently got my first car aswell. A 2006 polo gti. In the same boat as you. On green Ps. But after finding this forum it's been hard hanging around the cosmetic sections

Nice What colour? I'm on red p's can't wait to get off them! How bad are the laws!!?? Can't even drive my mum's Eos because it's a 2 door and therefore not a "family car", even though it's slower than my car...

Haven't been around here long so haven't caught the performance mod bug yet, but i'm hoping my lack of money will help keep that at bay, along with concentrating on cosmetics haha

You are very lucky,as my first car was a 1982 Ford Cortina,but since then I have also had 1 Holden Astra,4 VW Jettas,and 1 Honda Accord Euro.

Yeah im very fortunate, was my parents company car and great timing when they had to get a new one, i got my licence! So they bought it off the company (with my help) and now its mine

My gti is red.. love it to bits.. totally skipped over the bit were we cant drive 2dr cars..i sent off forms to vicroads and they said they didnt know of my car and my dads mkv gt. so i just gave up and never resent haha

all 9n polo gtis are 3dr =P

If you're a p-plater driving near the city on a friday/saturday night then you're going to get pulled over even if you're in a Suzuki swift..

Haha, true. I was in the city tonight but I didnt get pulled over, music blaring and everything. Saw at least 3 cop cars.
Another well known fact is that there will be a booze bus somewhere in Mill Park on any given friday or saturday night
