Hi all,

Have been lurking on these forums for a while, picking up info about the Polo before taking the plunge with a Red 5dr due to be delivered early Feb.

I'm going from a Mazda CX-7 to a small hatch and this is the first time to buy a European car, having driven Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ford and Mazda until now.

I'm looking forward to joining what seems to be a fairly exclusive club (due to limited availability of vehicles!) and sharing knowledge and contributing to the community.

I'd be chasing some modest performance upgrades, starting with CAI and a tune when they are available.
I'm also ex aftermarket car audio industry, so I'll upgrade the sound system and the head unit.

Sounds good and the intake/ecu mods should make these fun to drive.
I think we're getting a press vehicle in a few weeks, hope to grab a quick drive of it to compare with my Mk5.
