Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD Wolf saying hello.

    Hi Forum,
    My name's Wolf (actually, my middle name) and seeing what's what.
    I know Treza360 from the OZRenaultSport forum, and wanted to expand on what forums i frequent.
    I drive a RS Clio Sport 172, but may have to sell her soo for many reasons.
    A auto car is i the picture for a 1st replacement, and as such, a VW polo is a high contendor.
    I also do a little more in the Auto industry (including VW), but i will wait a little before i mention any more. Would't like to ruffle any feathers.
    Any advice on what polos are best to look at?

    I'm in Forest lake as well Don't know much about Polo's, happy to show off my mk6 GTI though

      Welcome to the forums mate.
      The Polo's are selling like hotcakes.

      If you have the cash i would look at the Polo GTI.

      Hopefully we can get you into a VW and to our weekly/monthly meets.

          Wolf, maaaaate, welcome aboard!
          GTi, if you can stand to drive around in a 172 while you wait, or for the same sort if $$ you can get the MkV GTi's with <50k on them. Or a GT Sport 2.0TDi even, if you like torque!
          List gets very short when SWMBO says it's gotta be an auto, but I love the DSG. Super fast, super smooth, and sooo nice when I'm doing 10km/h on the gateway and it is pi$$ing down. Drive it like a manual on the twisties and you will not be dissapointed either...
