  • VIC New MKV GTI owner from Melbournes West

    Hi Guys,

My name is Kyne (pronounced Kane) I'm from Melbourne's west and I'm a new owner of a 2007 MKV Golf GTI.

It is the two door variant with sunroof, bi-xenons & light brown leather - does anyone know the official name of this color, so I can stop tossing up between saying the colors tan & beige?

I'm loving every moment of it and has been a big upgrade from a pulsar.

    Here is the dealer shot:

I have no major plans for it just yet, apart from possibly a set of coilovers & wheels. I'm currently waiting on the vehicle to transfer from the dealers into my name so I can put my euro plates on and on an aftermarket dvd unit. That is all for now!

I look forward to coming along to the meets and cruises and getting to know the melbourne vdub crew!

    Thanks for reading

    Kyne

looks like your sporting an R32? its a shame there arent many GTI's/R32's in our area, most of them are either in the city or in the the other side of town

I seem to recall the stock colour being a deeper red; perhaps it just looks abit lighter in contrast with the dark body paint.

As for the leather, I'd call it "tan".

cheers mate, although I did come accross this "tan" interior in my time searching for my car...
