Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC Best price for 2010 Golf TDI 103 Comfortline Wagon; please help!

Questions, questions: We are new to VW, new to buying a brand new car too. It's scary az, brew!
We seriously considered the Subie Forester but are decided apon the Golf wagon.
Prices on this car vary from@ $41,000 to $36, 400. Some say Drive Away , others don't; how do I know what the REAL drive away price is?
How much can I realistically get off the DA price this model(I'm a bloody good bargainer, but need parameters first). We will not need a loan.
Some say that because VW know they have a good product (like Subaru/Honda), they won't budge much, is this true?

Thanks to anyone, ANYONE who can help!
Working...
