Polo Gti ordered (im a VW newbie)

Hi all,

Have my polo gti 5dr pearlescent black with the bi-xenon lights on order. I have been following this forum for some time, and thought that joining may just ease the pain of the 6month wait! Im a 22yr old lad (im no hoon) buying my first new car with the intention of possibly getting a little bit of advice from those in the know.

OMG, Toffee, you are soooo patient!I am looking at Golf TDI 2 litre wagons (I am 50, own dogs who have to be safe too) and will buy off the floor if I have to, HATE WAITING! I'd even go 'citizen/old person's white' just to get it ASAP. Note to others with Candy White; unlike on most cars, the white in this model actually looks good, true as!

Im 22 also and looking at a polo gti too.
The 6 month wait would kill me so I'm looking at all other alternatives Demos, off the floor etc.

looking to order a polo gti

So after much consideration i decided i want the polo gti..... totally bummed about this 12 month waiting list i keep reading about but i can deal with it, however im wondering how it all works. Can anyone explain it for me. Do you have a deposit (if so, how much) and then pay for it when you pick it up, If i were to get it delivered in 2012 would i still be given the keys to a 2011 build?

Also, does anyone know what they are charging for the sat nav, media in and bluetooth extras? - or does it come as a pack?
