WA Almost a new Golf GTI owner

In 2-3 weeks I'll be picking up a new MY11 GTI after a loooong wait. The excitement from the initial order is ramping up again now that it's so close.

Have been following these forums for months and learning a lot, making the wait bearable.

Hi Mattski,

Do you know which ship your car is coming over on? There is a link on another thread which allows you to track your car using the vin number of your vehicle.

I'm waiting on my GTi too, it arrived at Fremantle port on the 17th aboard the Aida... It should almost be through customs by now so I'm getting pretty amped....

Which dealer did you get your GTi from? And if you don't mind sharing how much did you get it for?

Dont know the name of the ship but checked with the dealer (VW Wangara) and it arrived on Dec 31st, a week early. Has already cleared customs and is waiting on pre-dealer fittings and compliance at Patrick Auto Care.

I'd say yours should be really close, maybe next week? Hope it's soon.

Congrats on your GTI Mattski, Wangara are great to deal with and their coffee in their waiting area is good too
