G'day,
About to lay my money down on a 3dr Polo GTi, white with no options. I am currently the owner of a 2009 model 3dr Fiesta Zetec, and owned a previous model Zetec before this, but I've lost patience with Ford. The car is actually very good, but the seat is too uncomfortable for long trips and I'm looking for a bit more go. Also keen to break out of the cycle of poor resale value of the Ford product. A life-long friend has a Golf GTi and is extremely happy, and this helped tip me into the Polo GTi.
The best deal I've been offered so far is 31,244 drive away. Shortage of supply means dealerships don't have to work too hard to make the sales, but I notice another new member of the Forum has got a better deal somewhere in Brisvegas, so a few more calls might be in order.
I will of course search the Forum for relevant topics, but any advice from other GTi folk would be most welcome. I'll keep others informed of what I find too.
