Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi all,

    I've just bought a MK6 Golf GTI

    Awesome car to drive and am totally infatuated with it. Just thought I'd join a community with other passionate 'dubbers.

      Yes it is. I had an 07 Cooper S which I traded in for the Golf and I am very happy I made the swap. The GTI just leaves it in the dust in every aspect.

        Congrats drewb! I have had my mk6 GTI only 3 months so I know how you feel

        I also had MINIs in the past, it seems most ex MINI people end up in VW's or Audi's when the see the light.

          absolutely cjay. I think I've done like 2.5k already in it. I'd love an Audi R8 also.. but fat chance that'll happen
