Getting ready to order the new Golf Wagon 118TSI. Any suggestions on negotiating the best price?

I used to own a '72 Super Beetle back in college during the early 90's. Looking forward to getting back to a VW.

To get the best price go at the end of the month when the sales person is trying to meet their targets. (Thats what I read in Ralph Naders Lemon Law book.)
