    Hello fellow Dubbers

I have had my R for one week now and it is getting its 1500km service this morning, although it has 2600km on the clock - had a funeral to attend out in western Qld. I must say I am wrapped with the LITTLE BEASTIE as I now call it and am pretty pumped that I made this decision

Thanks for the welcome team_v. Unfortunately I don't have permissions to upload photos yet. Can you tell me how I go about getting permission to upload photos to share? I have updated my profile photo with a photo of the beastie, but can't see it. I will have another go and see what happens.

          very, very nice!

i must admit that i see few enough on the roads in melbourne in any color, let alone that tasty silver.

Thanks Buller_Scott. Nope I purchased my VR6 about 3 years ago now. It has had a hard life and the clear paint has failed so it looks bad. The motor feels a little tired and I am sure the clutch is giving shudders of "I need the doctor - quickly"... But the interior is great and car is still in good condition and I think is worthwhile of spending money on. However, that feeling changes daily lol. At least this year, I hope to have it resprayed, new suspension and tyres and new clutch. That will keep me honest.

Thanks guys, I am away for work at present. I will get some photos up on the weekend when I get home. I have many questions to ask you VR6 experts as well. Especially around the motor.

                        So photos coming soon

Nice car - can't wait to get my one I haven't actually seen a silver one before, it's not bad

I remember asking my dealer about it and he told me there is not 1500km service (as such) the could do some quick check or something .. otherwise first service is suppose to be about a yr later or 15000kms? ... maybe I heard wrong

Yep there is no 1500km service. It is a check of the bolts and stuff, just to ensure the car is not sporting any loose fittings etc. I had it done because of all the roads and pot holes I had to dodge driving over 2000kms in the first week of owning the car.
