Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi all
    Went to Wollongong last Sat to buy a new Suberu. Test drove the one we had been checking out in the brochers and on the internet etc. Well what a disapointment that was.Left that dealer ,drove up the road past the VW dealer and said to my wife ''Lets call in there and have a look at what VW have to offer''.Walked out two hours later with a recipt for a new 147 black with sunroof,leather and mdi.Paid 52500 .Did not even know what a tiguan was before we walked in there Did I get it for a good price and have we brought a good car.Picked it up two days later so far so good .The wife loves it, its her car and she fell in love with it soon as she saw it. It had only just been deliverd to the daeler as stock.

      Before this we had a mazda cx7 which we had from new.That car spent as much time in the workshop as it did in our garage.Three months out of warranty and the air cond gave up.Biggest lemon we have ever owned.

        awsome car just watch for your driver licence
        just get or maybe you already have rcd 510 touchscreen 6 cdmp3 or even better option rns 510 navigation 30gb hard drive dvd......sometimes here on forum around 300-400 for first or on ebay rns 510 navigation around 1k..they worth every cent...you will love it even more
