Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

G'day all new to the forum but not new to vw's

Moved to oz 2 years ago and after having a few differant aussie cars i now want to go back to vw!!!

    Previous vw's are..

    mk1 golf clipper
    mk2 16v (helios blue)
    mk3 colour concept gti 8v
    mk3 vr6 highline dragon green
    mk3 vr6 silver
corrado vr6 mystic pearl blue (storm)
    corrado vr6 red.

I am now looking at getting into a r32 mk4 and out of my vz clubsport.

I also have a concourse 205 gti 1.9 that i keep for the shows.

Or at least i dont think i can witha 30k budget??...

I am still indecided which to get as well as i like the little polo gti esp the 1.8t but i would want a concourse practically new one..

I like the new shape but it doesnt have a manual box for the aussie market

              welcome mate!
Good luck finding Corrado's in Oz, rare as hens teeth. Which unfortunately also makes them hideously expensive
As Jarred said, chuck some photos up, awesome bunch of cars!
Also chuck on up of the Pug
