    Not quite a newbie...

    Hey all,

    I've been a member here for ~3 years, but somehow my post count is zero... maybe a forum software upgrade or something caused a reset?

    Anyway, dubs so far:
    [2006-2008] 2006 Golf MkV 2.0 TDI, Reflex Silver w/ GTI rims.
    [2008-2011] 2005 Golf MkV GTI, Candy White w/APR flash, Koni FSD's, EVOMS intake, Forge DV, Neuspeed TAI, Neuspeed Springs/Sways/Links, 18" RS4 Replica's w/ PZero's, Tint/Bluetooth/iPod.
    [2011+] TBC

    Currently returning my GTI back to almost-stock, as I plan on selling in January & ordering a new one - either a Mk6 GTI, or the new PoGo, or maybe a Mk6 GTD so my missus can drive it on her P-plates!

    Hi there, considering you are returning your car to stock, are you interested in selling some of the handling components? (providing they are no use to you for the mk6).

    I might be interested in the Koni FSD's and Neuspeed springs/sways/links.

        So my GTI's now advertised for sale, and as soon as it sells I'll be actively shopping for the new car...

        At this stage, I'm going with the P-plater friendly option... But not the GTD, it was a bit slow and the DPF issues sound scary

        So I'm looking at an MY09 R32 instead!

        If it happens, this will be my 3rd MkV

                        how many kms has your mk5 r32 have and how much did it set you back. i have been looking on carpoint at ones for sale

                          It's a 2008 MY08 with 41,000kms & 3-year extended warranty.

                          Expect to pay mid 40's...

                              No - I've got some free time in about a week & a half - hopefully get a chance to wash it & take a photo then! Being busy sucks!
