Hi, does anyone know where the engine number is located on the 1.2 TSI Polo? I know where the chassis number is (both locations) but I can't seem to find the engine number. I just wanted to cross check that this matches the registration with the Road Transport Department. I would imagine that the engine number would be imprinted or engraved somewhere on the engine, but I can't seem to find it. Any help is appreciated.

Your owners manual will have a sticker in the front of it with the engine number.
I don't know about the 1.2 motor but the engine number on the 1.4 motor is on the back of the engine above the transmission and below the coolant flange. -
